I woke up early and got out to run before sunrise today, as my body
was still on 'spring forward time'. I wanted to be seen and had a
headlight for my running cap and a flashing neon-green belt (to put
stuff in when my pockets get full) as I am a huge fan of not getting
'rundover'. Getting out that early meant a lot fewer cars on the road which allowed me to kinda run/poke/explore at will.
I might have missed some pig-iron early on when it was dark but all
that coinage definitely found me. Three quarters, 12 dimes, 9 nickels,
and 33 pennies were waiting for me, so we definitely 'hit for the cycle'
several times over. I know that $2.73 is not going to make anyone a
millionaire, and is not even enough for a gallon of regular gas. But
every coin I find in the road is a reminder of how amazingly blessed I
continue to be. And a symbol of the Creator's infinite abundance.
Order up. #70, your order's ready (somewhere). I've found those order cards before but they've always been run over and flattened. I wonder where do they keep the other 69 (or more) of those order thingies? I'm thinking of having some fun with our Whatafriends by going in there, taking it up to the counter, and asking what's taking my order so long to get out. Moving on. Some days you want a Firm-Grip, and sometimes it's a Hyper-Tough-Grip. And some days my honey says "you pick up any more gloves in the road and I'm going to give you such a Grip!" Whuhuoy!! Let's not go there. Next there was a Target gift card in a driveway leading to Kroger, not sure how they're related though. Another pen from some bank driveway, another hook from a tie-down, and an long rod that's 10" long and threaded on one end. According to 'Da Googles' that rod is an L-shaped anchor bolt and costs $127 because you have to buy 25 of them, but if you have 24 other friends that need one that makes it a little more reasonable.
