That is one gigantic rubber spider I found along Rufe Snow Dr this morning. I was thinking that maybe, if it was to suddenly appear on our patio, I could save my honey from it's clutches. Just like I wrestled that rubber snake that made its way into the patio previously. I believe the progression is smack (to the back of the head), and then the internationally famous eye-roll. Ok, next up is a Kroger shoppers card and usually I see the little ones that will fit on a key ring. No bargains for somebody today. The Lane Bryant credit card is a first though. Don't think I've even seen one of their stores before. The last plastic card is a St Paul Minnesota public library card. Wow....somebody is a long way from home, but good for you. So many resources available at the library and it's a quiet place to explore the world. Hope you get the card replaced or if you've moved here, hope you get down to the North Richland Hills library and get a new one. I found a "Realtor" pin and only picked it up because I was curious. 'Da googles' tells me it's "a glitter enamal pin to let us all know that somebody is a member of the National Association of Realtors. And it comes in five snazzy colors." Yup, you heard that right....SNAZ-ZY. Ok then, there was another socket and a socket extension today, always useful. I 'hit for the cycle' (penny, nickel, dime, quarter) once again, in fact three times over. It seems like everywhere I looked I was finding moola, and a lot of times there'd be something shiny that caught my eye and then 2' away would be another shiny penny. I do ask myself all the time, "how does He do that?" Rhetorically speaking of course, because those little blessings from the Creator are always special, and always appreciated.
Fun, strange, interesting, crazy, unusual, and totally unexpected treasures found every day on my run. From shiny pennies to sockets, lug nuts, wallets, cell phones, credit cards, tools to rubber duckies and more. You just never know what you'll find and where you'll find it.
