Although I can never predict what I'll find on the next run, I can usually count on there being a pen, tools, plastic, and change. So first, thank you to my friends at Chase for the pen, but I did see it and its twin the last time I passed the bank. I didn't get greedy then, I just took one and left one for today. There were two drill driver-bits, one a small hex-head, and the other a small Phillips head to add to the others that have turned up. On the right side is an unbreakable rubber pad from either a tv or cable remote, and I expect the rest of it must have gotten pretty well pulverized as there was no trace of any of it. The plastic today was a Talley's Magic Money card and a Main Event FunCard so it seems somebody was having fun at the arcade, or a Texas carnival. You know, anymore if you want food at say, the state fair, you need an RFID card like these instead of money changing hands. And on the games, instead of feeding quarters into the slot, you just load up the card and it basically spits electronic quarters for you. Keep in mind that's not helping guys like me that are expecting folks to be dropping change and maybe a dollar bill on the ground so there's something interesting for me to find. There were though a few folks that did share a few coins with me today in the form of 5 shiny pennies and a shiny dime. Six little reminders of the Creator's infinite abundance. Yeayuh!
Fun, strange, interesting, crazy, unusual, and totally unexpected treasures found every day on my run. From shiny pennies to sockets, lug nuts, wallets, cell phones, credit cards, tools to rubber duckies and more. You just never know what you'll find and where you'll find it.
