SOMETIMES IT JUST STAYS THERE : 06 25 2022

Seems the most useful little treasure today was my 1st find, a 13mm combination wrench, and for some reason, I find a lot of 13s.  Since it was too big for a pocket or even the overflow belt, I stashed it where nobody would see it and came back for it.  Now the purple Lei was another first, it was in the grass between the curb and the sidewalk and I'm guessing it was Aloha-ware from a Hawaiian Luau nearby.   Not a lot of change out there today, but then just one shiny penny makes it all worthwhile. And as always, thank you Creator of all things for those small blessings.
Just reaffirming here - yes  - I still have a Firm Grip. Moving on.  Socket and a lug nut, but no quarter and nickel so no 'hitting for the extended cycle' (see Jan 13), but hey, you just never know.  Now normally on this route I have found a lot of yellow tennis balls but today it's a yellow Bridgestone golf ball. Thought Bridgestone just made tires?
There are lots of things in the road that I leave there. Dirty stuff, rusty stuff, personal hygiene stuff, uninteresting stuff.  Today, in the median of a 6 lane road, I spotted a dirty, hairy, little pink rug. There's nothing like a cool find in the road.  And this was nothing like a cool find in the road.  You're welcome honey, there it stays (hey, you take that eye-roll back!)
