That may look to you like an innocent CoverGirl compact at the upper left, but that's what they want you to think. It was in a lane of traffic on Hwy 1709 face down with the powder and pad missing, but of course that's the space where the Under CoverGirl super secret ninja spy stuff went. The kind of stuff that always self-destructs when it's lost or stolen (and the State Dept disavowed all knowledge.... etc.) It's probably best if we move on and never speak of this again. There were some multiples of two today; two lug-nuts, two pens (from our credit union buddies), two drill bits, 2 x 2 machine screws, and 2 x 2 NutsInTheRoad (picked up by yes, we all know, by OneMoreNutInTheRoad). Not sure if that's supposed to be symbolic. That large 18mm socket is for a 1/2" handle and since I don't find very many of the big ones, I'm hoping it will fill a gap in the latest 1/2" set -----which will be available soon in the 'Rundover' Store's tool aisle. There was a tiny eyeglass screwdriver today which is handy for taking cell phones and other small gadgets apart. The drill driver-bit, wire cap, house key and tire weight are run 'o the mill items, stuff I pretty much see every day. Lots of change spread around out there today, 24 pennies even. Lots of dimes too, 9 of them and 2 nickels, and when the quarter showed up I once again 'hit for the cycle'! That's a whole buck forty-four which is about the daily cost of eating healthy vs the unhealthy diet according to the Harvard School of Public Health. At least back in 2013 it was. With inflation that number is closer to $1.93 so it looks like I'm only going to be able to eat healthy every other day. (ha!) But thank you Creator of all things for that blessing at least!
